I was seeking to have the policy and/or information containing the companies legal right to charge interest on a medical bill sent to me. The Vice President continued to tell me it was her legal right to charge interest. I again asked her to send the policy to me and she continued to talk over me and she appeared very angry that I was asking for what I believe to be my right. I found this problem last year when I approached a mortgage broker to qualify for a mortgage. Once he brought up this info ( which is ridiculous as all - totals in $190.00 and all - were paid in full ). Debt collection disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received June 23, 2015 - I am a - year old college student .Just recently I found out that I have an unpaid debt ( $450.00 ) in my credit report from -/-/- which I never knew about. Upon further investigation I found out about an unpaid medical bill my insurance company has refused to pay. Now, I have never received a single correspondence from the hospital nor from the collection agency.The only reason I found out about this debt now in -/-/- is because I applied for credit card and was denied due to the above mentioned debt .I am devastated because I pay all my bills on time.
