Medical Disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received
California Business Bureau, Inc. Debt collection department,
Medical Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received California
A portion of my medical bill was sent to the California Business Bureau and I reached out to the company to find around $80.00 dollars in interest fees were charged to my account. I was seeking to have the policy and/or information containing the companies legal right to charge interest on a medical bill sent to me. The Vice President continued to tell me it was her legal right to charge interest. I again asked her to send the policy to me and she continued to talk over me and she appeared very angry that I was asking for what I believe to be my right. I do not feel I was adequately advised as to why I was being charged additional monies on my account.
