A couple of loans I had taken were from an agency by the name of Alaska Commission on Postsecendary Education ( ACPE ). The loans I agreed to take were all federal loans. I did not apply for private loans. I found out about a year ago that a few of of my loans through them were actually private. I did not apply for private loans. Alaska Commission on Post Secondary Education Student loan dealing with my lender or servicer don't agree with fees charged November 19, 2015 - I have a student loan with Alaska Commission for Post Secondary Education from -/-/- that I have been paying on. If I got behind, I always caught back up. I filed for divorce in -/-/- ( I was a stay at home mom up until -/-/- ) so my account became delinquent and in default. In -/-/- I filed bankruptcy. Knowing my student loan was n't going to be discharged, I contacted ACPSE to setup a payment plan. They refused to work with me and said that I needed to pay $1800.00 order to be considered current ( $3800.00 total debt ). Obviously I could n't do that, I am a single mom... |
