November 24, 2015 - The problem is with GM Financial and the difficulty I 'm having with the company applying the funds that I sent, before my first regular monthly payment, to principle only. According to what I read, from the company 's literature, all funds made previous to or after a regular monthly payment or simple interest payments would automatically be applied to the principle. September 25, 2015 - In 2006, I purchased a used vehicle from - - in - - Florida. I used a lender refereed by the dealership, GM Financial. I was told that interest would be accrued monthly. However, the interest was accrued daily. The loan was roughly $8000.00, and the monthly interest was outrageous. I had no choice, but to use 100 % of my student loans to pay off this loan early. May 19, 2015 - In -/-/- my ex spouse and I were purchasing a car, where GM financial required me to co-sign on the loan. In -/-/- we split and I called GM to take my name off of the car loan as I was not a primary borrower. For a while account was not reporting on my credit but my ex let the loan go and the car was sold out at the auction.
