I advised the collector that I did not believe the debt was collectible because it was already charged off. I requested debt validation via phone, fax, and mail. I never received anything and they stopped contacting me. They then obtained a default judgement. I was never served. They never validated the debt. They contacted me a little over a year ago regarding this. I called and spoke with someone who had me fax over the paperwork that I have showing that it was paid in full.
