June 11, 2015 - - - contacted me regarding a charged off -. I advised the collector that I did not believe the debt was collectible because it was already charged off. I requested debt validation via phone, fax, and mail. I never received anything and they stopped contacting me. They then obtained a default judgement. I was never served. March 19, 2015 - I paid the debt in full in -/-/2008 and received a notarized letter from them stating that this debt was paid in full and that I no longer owed them any money. They contacted me a little over a year ago regarding this. I called and spoke with someone who had me fax over the paperwork that I have showing that it was paid in full.
