I never wanted - checking accounts but was told that was how pnc bank had to do this to open the other savings. In total I had - accounts, our regular checking. When scheduling an online bill to be paid the actual field is labeled SEND ON and then you can click on a calendar and select a date. I selected my payment to SEND ON -/-/15. It cleared my account on -/-/15, creating a negative balance, so now I have incurred a fee of $36.00. When I called PNC Bank, I was told that their policies and practices are explained in the fine print, so they would not refund the fee. I was unable to pay the $36.00 so they started charging me $7.00 everyday after that. On - - I spoke with someone from the bank and they waived $98.00 in fees which put the negative balance down to $130.00. On -/-/15, in the evening, I noticed that a few purchases I made ( but did n't post yet ) placed me at - $46.00.
