January 25, 2017 - I opened an ( online ) Synchrony bank savings account and Synchrony proceeded to mail letters with my FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, obviously along with my full name and address. My birth date may have even been on the letter as well. After contacting Synchrony to file my complaint, they indicated that they had sent out several other letters with my full social on it. I only received the - letter with my social and am extremely concerned the other letters with my social were intercepted. I would n't be so upset if it was only the last - of my social. But the full social is ridiculous....

July 25, 2016 - Savings account at Synchrony was LOCKED due to invalid password. Synchrony after 2 horus of repeated calls COULD NOT unlock account due to internal Synchrony security procedures. 1. I have NO mobile phone which Synchrony REQUIRES to get a text message. 2. I have NO internet at home so can not request CALL of code and be near home phone. 3. When requesting CALL it goes to recorder where Synchrony will NOT leave code. June 23, 2016 - I just spent 2-1/2 HOURS on the Synchrony Bank website & spoke with - different representatives on the phone, simply trying to change my password, as the Bank is requiring. It was a NIGHTMARE! The Bank makes it almost impossible to get access to my own money.
