Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report public record January 17, 2016 - Since " hard entry 's '' are of public record - I choose that area as the area I wish to dispute. I just reviewd my Credit Report completely looking at each section and what it means. I read about the hard credit inquiries and I dispute that - had my permission to check my credit. I called them to ask questions about their services because I was thinking about changing my carrier. I WAS NOT ready to change carriers at that time. Just inquiring about their rates.
