I have contacted them by phone and they indicated that the original account ( - ) was listed as an - speaking person. I do not speak speak -. I submitted an online dispute with -, but they decided in favor of -. I have never received any documentation, - or otherwise, validating this debt. I have offered to just pay the debt as long as it gets deleted from my credit profile. I was divorced in -/-/-, and moved several times in the years after that. This debt recently came to my attention on a credit report inquiry, and is the only negative entry on my report. Although - acknowledges that the original account listed the person receiving the credit as -, they have refused to take any action. The persons I spoke with from - indicated that they were located in -, could have cared less about me submitting a complaint to the federal government of the United States. One call the man identified himself as " - - '' in -, with and - accent. This was false information given in an effort to collect a debt. The debt is in my previous name of - -. My name now after getting married in -/-/- is - -.
