Continental Finance Company, LLC Credit card other fee January 1, 2017 - I applied for a - credit card and read the agreement .It says there will no monthly maintenance fees started until 2nd year of terms.Yet I closed my account before entering the 2nd term.There is still a balanc I am paying off from the company.They have added the monthly maintenace fee on tho while paying it off tho. I dont feel that is legal according to what I read.This is due to the fact as I said I didnt enter in to the 2nd year of term because I wasnt willing to pay a $120.00 annual plus a - $ monthly fee, that would have been - a year to keep open whether you have a balance or ... |

Once the first year ends it is 10 a month. I never activated card, when I received a call from the company. They told me they would cancel card and refund the -. 4 months later and account is open, never have I charged on card. Charging 25 % of limit was not on the application. Otherwise I would not have applied.... |

When I read the agreement it seemed to state that it was either a - yearly charge or a - monthly charge not -. Then when I try to cancel the card the guy said that the monthly charge will keep going month after month even though I closed the account.... |
Continental Finance Company, LLC Credit card other fee June 18, 2016 - I have a credit card with - ( Continental Finance ). The credit limit is $500.00. It was renewed automatically in 2016. I never used it in 2016 but to date I have been billed $240.00 in fees. I paid $170.00 in fees just to protect my credit and I cancelled my card but the bills keep coming. My credit rating is damaged and I am still getting bills, the latest is for $160.00. ... |
Continental Finance Company, LLC Credit card other fee November 3, 2015 - Continental Finance is charging me a $5.00 fee per month on a closed account, i.e. of the $35.00 I pay per month, $5.00 is some kind of account maintenance fee, unrelated to interest charges. I do n't know if this is legal. I live in Iowa. Payments are always made on time. A statement is attached, showing the charge. They only have the past - statements available online ; I estimate that there are - or - such payments ... |
