Bank of America Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account status March 22, 2017 - original case # - was resolved except for the credit reporting. because I was considered for the trial payment plan, bofa considered this to be a credit problem and entered a seriously delinquent report to the bureaus. I have never been late and always paid on time I need this rectified. it is damaging my ability to borrow money or get a loan. thank you PS thank you for assisting me in getting the modification approved through Bank of America. The problem was, I needed my credit line increased by $3500.00. When I was connected to the rep, I explained to her what I was interested in and what I needed to make it happen. I then told her that if getting my credit line increased involved a hard inquiry, then I would not be interested. She just went along and asked to update my financial information. Bank of America Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account status January 6, 2017 - I made a transaction with auto transportation company and they charged my ( credit account ) $140.00 on - /2016. I made payment of ( $720.00 ) on -/-/-/2016 to my credit including the aforementioned amount. On -/-/2016 my credit account balance was ( ZERO ). Later I cancelled my order with the transportation company and asked them to refund me my money to the credit account, and they did so. Bank of America Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account status September 6, 2015 - I have written to Bank of America multiple times, including to the office of the CEO, to request a goodwill deletion of some prior late payments and they have denied my requests multiple times, including a review and denial from an account representative from the office of the CEO. I am aware that they have no obligation to remove late payments simply because I requested them to, but to deny my request on the basis of reporting information correctly while continuously reporting incorrect information is both hypocritical and angering.
