I was told I would receive in writing a letter to present to the credit bureaus removing this debt as part of the class action lawsuit against consumer portfolio. Consumer Portfolio Services Consumer Loan taking out the loan or lease taking out the loan or lease November 30, 2015 - my - loan was with consumer portfolio service. CPS stop taking monthly pymnts from me and forward the account to collection who demanded $10000.00. i filed a complaint via better business bureau, CPS then stated i owe $7000.00 but will settle for $3000.00. i then tryied to trade the vechicle in but CPS now went back-up to $7000.00. CPS solded the account to an outside co. [ als resolvion ] to whom pick-up the vehicle. My vehicle was paid-off and CPS was collecting late fees from me, but stated i still owed on the vehicle. Consumer Portfolio Services Consumer loan taking out the loan or lease May 11, 2015 - On -/-/-. I received a vehicle from - ( I live in - ) that I purchased from - in -. The vehicle arrived without a temporary plate. When I asked the dealership about this, they said the plate blew off in transport. The transport driver stated it did not have a plate when it was picked up. My loan was financed by Consumer Portfolio Services ( they were fined - -/-/- by the FTC ). For several months after I received the vehicle, the dealership would not send me the title and registration. - got involved, but apparently the dealer did not own the car when I purchased it... |

I was advised by the dealership here in Texas that CPS was financing the car. That was -. As of today, -, I have yet to receive ANY documentation from CPS. However, today I did receive a dept collection call from them because the - payment was due - & I was late.
