Closing/Cancelling account Illinois
I tried to log in to my - Credit card and was not able to. When I called, i was told by the customer service representative that the account is closed due to inactivity. I did not receive any information that my account is going to be closed due to inactivity and having the account open since -/-/2011, i did not remember the terms and conditions. I asked for the terms and conditions to be sent to me so i can confirm that indeed that account was closed accurately and was advised that i will receive the terms and conditions in mail. couple weeks later i received a letter advising that - - Synchrony Bank - does not maintain copies of credit card agreements for closed accounts. So there is no way for me to know the accuracy of closing my account.
