First Merit Bank is harassing me now because I previously filed a complaint against it with the CFPB. Earlier this year I closed my account with First Merit Bank. I also filed a complaint with the CFPB because the Bank erroneously and fraudulently kept part of my balance. Because of my complaint, the Bank gave me the monies due me. Now, on a letter dated -/-/2015, the Bank writes that my CLOSED account was overdrawn on -/-/-. Because the malicious and fraudulent action by the Bank to make my CLOSED account overdrawn LONG AFTER it was closed, it is reasonable to conclude that the Bank is RETALIATING against me. The Bank, by its malicious actions, is now ruining my credit history, which was perfect without any overdrawings while the account was open.
