Prestige Financial Services, Inc. Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Maryland
I made arrangements for my vehicle payment to be deducted from my bank account -/-/-. I noticed when I checked my bank account that the item was returned. I then went online and made the payment -/-/- using my bank card. The message I received online from Prestige Financial advised that the payment would post to my account -/-/-. I received a text message -/-/- from Prestige advising that my account was 31 days late and that I needed to make a payment. I contacted Prestige and advised that I had already made the payment. They advised that it was not posted until today -/-/- so I was being reported for being 31 days late to the credit bureaus. I advised that this was not fair as the message I received when I made the online payment advised that it would be posted -/-/- at which time I was only 28 days late. The person also advised that I made the payment on Saturday and that there was no one there to post the payment. I advised that this was not my problem, but now thinking back the payment was made on Friday - and my receipt advises that the
writing on several occasions but have been advised that this could not be done. I finally did get an email advising of two months that had been reported. After reviewing my credit report they are not reporting the same months consistently with the bureaus. I feel that those months should not be reported as well as those payments were made but was posted to their account a day or two afterwards. I have disputed this information with the bureaus and have not successfully got this resolved. I feel that the two late -/-/- needs to be removed from the credit bureaus as well. The FCRA requires that information is reported and reported accurately and must be resolved in a timely manner. I have been disputing those for over 8 months.
