Other (phone, health club, etc.) Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Washington

- - has wrongly submitted a collection action against me. I began new service with - -, and have nothing but consistent billing errors ( always overbilling ). It has been very difficult working with their customer service department to resolve the issues, but a couple of months ago, I thought everything had finally been resolved, and I suddenly received a collection notice on a bill I was unaware existed. - - refuses to recall the notice, and told me to pay the bill and I would have to deal with the credit reporting bureau on my own. This is unlawful as this bill is in dispute, and I do not believe it is owed. Additionally - - has very confusing billing practices, that confuse not only customers but their customer service group. When I contacted - - they also confirmed they did not show an outstanding balance. Here is the monthly copy of my bill. Since working with their customer service, and resolving all of the disputed amounts, or so I thought, I have not received a notice from - - that there was even an outstanding balance. I will not be blackmailed into paying a bill I was not aware I owed, by threatening me with collection actions. I have outstanding credit and will not allow - - to use these strong arm tactics. I pulled a - report, which I have included as an attachment, and it is showing a consistent trend that they are using these unlawful tactics with everyone. Noticed, the complaints are never on the side of under billing, they are consistently on overbilling issues. And their customer service group is not resolvoing the issues corrected. When calls and discussion happen, I have requested they put it in writing because of all of the errors and miss billings and they refuse. This is also unlawful, since they are quoting pricing and locking consumers into three year contracts. They are not charging what they are quoting and we do n't find out until months later as we are trying to sort through the billing.
