They said I would need $3500.00. To pay it off. Those are very different amounts. The debt is also almost at it 's 7 year statue of limitations so they tried to make me make a smaller payment so they can continue the collection proceedings. I had - bills that were not paid and were sent to collection. I communicated with Armada and let them know the insurance would be paying. In the process of me getting it all worked out they started trying to garnish my wages. They stated it is interest they have been collecting. I told them I was never informed they were making interest off of this balance. I was under the understanding that if people or companies are going to charge interest on a debt, they have to inform the consumer. I do n't believe that a consumer should have to pay interest on a balance the company does n't communicate to you.
