Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount May 12, 2015 - I purchased a - Toyota Camry in - with gap insurance for $15000.00 using Prestige Financial. I became diligent for a few months when I lost my job and started a repayment plan. They had called all my family, my work, they threatened me by telling me I would go to jail, etc. Until I requested that we only communicate through email. It got better and they were set up to have direct deposit come out of my check as then they contacted a friend a few weeks after receiving my payments that they were to repo my car.
