Prosper Marketplace, Inc. Mortgage settlement process and costs May 22, 2016 - 1. This loan ( from Prosper Company ) was not strictly a mortgage. It was a debt consolidation loan for $15000.00 and the rate promised me was 15.41 %. They took out 5 % of the loan as some sort of fee which made the loan amount $14000.00. At a three year rate of paying $520.00. a month I will be paying a total of $18000.00 which is an interest rate of 24.6 %, ( based on the total loan amount of $14000.00. ) not 15.41 % as promised. At that rate I never would have taken the loan. It is the same exorbitant rate the credit card companies were charging. 2. I would like the $750.00. (... |
