August 23, 2016 - My vacation club account went into collection as I have had financial difficulty and have not been able to pay. I contacted my original creditor - and they said they transferred/sold the account to Monterey Financial. August 20, 2016 - The call my phone 100 times a day. My boyfriend and I went through a financial hardship at the beginning of the year and we are trying to take the proper steps to resolve this debt. They continuously call and say we need a payment today card or routing number. I tell everyone that we 'll pay on line there is no need to call. They talk over me and continue to ask for payment. I called the number and spoke with a representative that told me I would get a free vacation for attending a presentation they were having in the -, -. The rep said that the vacation was completely free and the only fees I would be responsible for would be porting fees wherever I chose to port from.
