September 28, 2015 - Collector called number OTHER than my number ( husband 's business cell ) and disclosed amount, nature of bill AND who bill was for to party other than myself. First began by saying they were wanted to verify employment ( I have worked for him in the past ), then wanted to verify address, then tried to verify number. When soc security number verification was refused and asked what this was in regards to, they released the amount, nature and biller to someone other than myself which is in violation of law. June 18, 2015 - Receiving calls and letter in reference to previous bill which was paid some dating back to 2004, some years prior to the death of my husband. Many related to agency collection fees for bills which were paid to the hospital/doctor directly. Many others show no balance due. I called them back and the girl informed me they were Frost Arnett Collection Agency and wanted to collect a debt. I asked the girl if she would make a settlement, she said no, so I informed her I did not have the money to cover the complete amount. She tried to press me to give her my employment information. May 4, 2015 - In - 2015, I paid $340.00 to remove an item I discovered on my credit report. It was my belief, at the time, that paying it was the only way I was able to get the tradeline removed from my credit report. The collection company told me the account belonged to me and I believed them. My sole reason for paying the debt was to remove the trade line. April 7, 2015 - I attempted to negotiate a reduced amount for a full and final settlement of my debt. The collection company, Frost-Arnett Company, told me that I had to front the money that I was offering and they would take that amount to the creditor and see if they would accept it for settlement.
