Bank of America consumers have reported over 12 official complaints related to Government benefit payment card. Out of the 12 consumer complaints against Bank of America, 25% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Bank of America responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 8% of consumer complaints against Bank of America resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 8% resulted in non-monetary compensation.

Bank of America Prepaid card unauthorized transactions/trans. issues January 27, 2017 - I was issued a debit card from -/Bank of America. Card was credited by - in Michigan for approx $990.00 on -/-/- 2 times = approx $2000.00 in credits. A charge for $1800.00 was made to somewhere in the -. Bank adjusted so all was ok. On -/-/- ( after card was suspended ) called BOA , letting them know card was again credited another $990.00. Was to be taken care of and on -/-/- those - charges were reversed and now I owe over $2700.00! Bank refuses to handle situation so I can get MY $240.00 out.... |
Bank of America Prepaid card fraud or scam October 11, 2016 - On -/-/2016 around - I went to bank of America ATM at - and - - and I try to withdraw some money so I can take my kids out to eat, when I check my balance it did not seem right so I called the automated machine and I discovered that there is a transaction for the amt of - at -. Bank of America Prepaid card fraud or scam August 23, 2016 - I have Bank of America pre paid debit card that was issued to me from the - and someone stole the information from the card, I believe after I used it at a gas station, and used that info to steal money from ATMs in a town north of - where I have never been. They stole almost $700.00 over the course of several transactions at - different ATMs. Immediately after I discovered my bank account was drained to almost $0.00 I notified the bank of the fraudulent transactions.
