Whitney Bank Bank account or service account opening, closing, or management February 22, 2016 - My wife and I closed our Hancock Bank accounts today, - -, 2016. We only did this because the bank sent us a certified letter notifying us that it was going to close our accounts on - -, 2016. We were surprised to be charged a $20.00 account closing fee for each of the accounts. As you will see in the attached letter, the bank provided no reason for the account closures.
