This frequent and repeated calls happens multiple times a day despite me telling them that I do not know where this person is or how to find them. The calls where from an Ally Financial group. When I answered the phone I was greeted with an answering machine staying they were trying to collect money from me. Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info contacted me after i asked not to November 25, 2015 - I have been receiving collection calls from Ally Financial after I explained to them I am not the party they are seeking please remove my number and do not call my cell. I have received - more calls this week from - harassing me, these calls were made on - and - to my cell-. I understand they are currently in violation of the FDCPA prohibiting calls to my cell after I have told them numerous times not to contact me I am not the correct party. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine November 5, 2015 - Over the last several years, I have been getting repeated phone calls from Ally Financial regarding debt owed by a person with the same last name as me, and whose wife has the same first name as mine. On each call, I have explained that I am not the debt holder and asked Ally Financial to stop calling me. I have been unsuccessful in getting them to stop.
