I carry full coverage insurance ( through private company ) on my vehicle, which Huntington is listed as lien holder, but learned today that Huntington is ALSO charging me $40.00 per month for auto insurance. I have never missed a payment, been late nor had insurance lapse at anytime. I was informed by a Huntington representative, that that is just something they do to protect their interest. I paid off my car in -/-/- and was charged a - early payoff fee. I got a letter stating they electronically filed my title and I have to go to the title bureau and pay for a paper title. On - - my payment was due and mailed in in a timely manner as to not be late. The check was stamped and addressed but did not clear my account until late - which put me past 30 days late. I feel this is unfair as I gave ample time for my check to arrive.
