Central States Recovery, Inc. Debt collection disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received April 18, 2015 - The original creditor had my mailing address incorrect, but they did have a good contact telephone # ; I did n't realize I even owed this until I pulled my credit report. By then the debt had been sold to the collection agency. I never received a bill from the original creditor, or the collection agency. I am an - so I had my wife call the agency based on the info from my credit report. They attempted to use scare tactics to get her to pay it over the phone without ever seeing a statement of any kind.
