Bank of America Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account terms February 15, 2017 - I called Bank of America because I was interested in a balance transfer offer they had. The problem was, I needed my credit line increased by $3500.00. When I was connected to the rep, I explained to her what I was interested in and what I needed to make it happen. I then told her that if getting my credit line increased involved a hard inquiry, then I would not be interested. She just went along and asked to update my financial information. I then reiterated that she better not run my credit. She explained that she was not a credit analyst and she had no access to my credit. I said O.K, but... |
