Sterling Jewelers Inc. Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account terms March 23, 2017 - I received a call from a third party collection agency with no verification at all. The representative for the company proceeded releasing my personal information which is a violation of the FDCP with no verification. I then filed a law suit, and the collection account remains on my credit report as a charge off with no balance. The company made the mistake of not following the rules. I am filing this complaint because it was a mistake with the call and therefore the account should be completely removed from credit report.
