Loan Science, LLC Student loan can't repay my loan can't decrease my monthly payments April 6, 2016 - I had a private loan that was consolidated in -/-/- to Loan Science from - -. My cosigner and fianc died -/-/-, the company worked with me on lower payment plan for the last 8 years. I was not aware that they would suddenly decide to stop offering a lower payment plan, or that once I had to pay the full payment, which is difficult as I care for my - mom and still recovering from the sudden loss of my fianc, would be - % of the payment would be going to interest, and that the interest rate would cripple me for the next 25 years.
