CarMax, Inc. Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount December 15, 2015 - My deficiency debt from Carmax was assigned to a debt collection agency, - - -. The amount was raised over $3000.00 without any proof of the interest rate or fees from the original contract. I spoke with - - initially and tried to settle this debt but have not been able to maintain any sort of communication with them. I have called multiple times and am told that someone will follow up on this case and call me back.
