Navient Student loan dealing with my lender or servicer need information about my balance/terms December 15, 2015 - In a recent attempt to finalize re-payment options for my student loan with Navient Solutions, I was told that there was a second loan which had not been accounted for in addition to my current loan that shows a balance of $2800.00. When I inquired about this second loan I was told that it was a larger loan with a balance of around $11000.00 and that I needed to address this - as well or I could be facing possible action and even wage garnishes. They pushed me into a - - ( Now Navient ) Loan, said I met the criteria with a cosigner, and it was the best loan one could get. When in all truth it was the WORST. Variable rate that is up to % 13 percent, and climbing. I owe more on the debt now than when I first took it out.
