Discover Credit card department,
I paid some bills yesterday from my Bank - - - ( routing # -, account # - ) yesterday - -. I intended to pay my Mortgage - ( act # - ) for $2200.00, but when I checked today on line, by bank - - - instead paid my Discover Card ( account # - ) with a confirmation number -. I called DiscoverCard today, talked to a - in Billing department in Delaware, and - said 1 ) she has no record of ever receiving the $2200.00 and 2 ) that there was nothing that she could do. In other words, the $2200.00 vanished into thin air!
