Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting report or credit score New Mexico
On recently changing my auto insurance policy from - to -, I was advised by my insurance company ( - ) of an adverse affect on my premium from my credit report provided to them by Experian. Because of the adverse effect, I was entitled to a free copy of my report from Experian. I first tried to obtain this report through Experian 's Website. I was told that it could not be processed at that time and that I should try again later. I tried later and received a message that it could not be processed and that I should call their telephone number. I called their telephone number and received a series of prompts, none of which covered my problem or allowed me to speak to a person. The only prompt, close to my problem, was to purchase a copy of the report. Without a copy of the credit report, I can not contest whatever caused this adverse report. I feel Experian 's telephone center has been set up to exclude people from talking directly to an Experian representative.
