I took a hardship withdrawal from my - account and the funds were sent via ACH from - - - to Commerce Bank. Commerce returned the check when funds were available causing an additional hardship as the monies were for repairs on our home and medical expenses. ACH received on -/-/-, Check presented on -/-/- and returned the check on -/-/-. My wife returned early from being with our son in North Carolina and I returned early from a business meeting in - as a result of this check for $21000.00 being returned. A call was placed into Commerce on -/-/- to the personal banker, no reply. No letters or information has been shared previously indicating that our account was subject to any set off, etc.
