Commerce Bank Bank account or service deposits and withdrawals May 9, 2016 - I recieved a check for $550.00 dollars that was post dated -/-/2016. I deposited the check into a personal bank account on -/-/2016 with my bank, Commerce Bank . Funds were not available for the check when it was processed on -/-/2016. Commerce Bank proceeded to charge me $10.00 for a returned check AND did not re-run the check. My account was never overdrawn and I was told that the check would be sent back to the originator by a Commerce employee on -/-/2016. Commerce Bank Bank account or service deposits and withdrawals May 15, 2015 - Commerce Bank withdrew funds from my account, caused me to overdraft, all because the check that was written had a similar account number. Similar in the means that it was n't my account and that the bank had an error when dispersing the funds. When I called the company they told me I would not be able to use any funds for - to - hours because they had to submit a formal complaint and go through the process.
