I have a - - loan that was sold to the company Navient. In -/-/- I set up a recurring monthly payment of $170.00 to be taken out of my account for 12 months on the payment assistance plan. After two payments I received a call to set up another payment plan for $140.00. Shortly thereafter I received a call stating that I could not be on two payment plans so I decided to keep the $140.00 payment plan. I then received a phone call saying that the higher up managers denied both payment plans after I had already been set up and paid monthly amounts. When I spoke with managers ( - different ones to be exact ) I was told that it was nothing that they could do because the higher up managers made the decision. The last manager I spoke with told me that it was a computer program and that they could not change the interest rate for my loan. I did not ask for my interest rate to be changed. They offered me a payment of $190.00 a month, but I think it is unfair for me to be forced to take this payment considering
to pay the - every month because that was the last agreement that we had. I would like a separate mediator to intervene so that we can find a solution. I made an agreement to pay a certain amount of money every month to this company every month and they changed the terms. That is not fair. I have yet to speak with a higher up about the decision that was made even though I requested it.
