I was unable to make payments on my $16000.00 private loan through Chase for several months. They are refusing to allow me an affordable payment plan. I am now in a financial position to make meager payments but because my loan is in default, they are demanding full payment or " deal with the consequences ''. They will not inform me of such consequences, refuse to set up a payment plan, and are threatening to go after my consigner. I am petrified of the repercussions I could face as a result of a private loan default.
