Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't get flexible payment options New Jersey

My Chase Private Student loan fell delinquent in 2011 due to unemployment. I called numerous times to resolve the delinquency and apply for forbearance, but was told there was nothing that could be done. A few months later, it fell into collections and was charged off. I have called many times to see if payment arrangements can be made, but they are demanding the balance in full. I am in the process of buying a home, and can not pay the balance in full, but would like to begin paying on this loan. I need assistance dealing with the collector.
