Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't temporarily postpone payments Arizona

Navient has been tasked with my loan consolidation. I started receiving many threatening phone calls back in - when I was out of school. They were not nice calls and many threats were made. I was going through financial hardship including a 9 year long custody battle, another divorce, and soon thereafter a bankruptcy. I was able to place my other loans ( I thought all of them ) into deferment/forbearance while I was dealing with my personal issues and was expecting the consolidated loans to be deferred as well. I 'm not contesting the loan, I just needed time to get financially stable before starting repayment.


I am still in school and expect to be finished some time between - and - -. I recently reviewed my credit report and the loans serviced through Navient are now showing up. They were not there before! It seemed as though everything was in deferment, but now they are not and while trying to get my life back together, finish school and rebuild my credit, Navient is causing issues. Again, I am not contesting the loans. I just want them to be placed in in-school deferment so I can focus on school and not have to worry about dealing with Navient until I finish my -.
