Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Don't agree with fees charged Florida

I was told that Discover student loans will be participating in a loan modification but every time I call to have my 11 % interest rate reduced, they ca n't do anything about it. It is unheard of to pay 11 % on a loan that I can barely afford. They only tell me I can defer the loan or go on forbearance in which the amount that I will owe each month will only get higher. No one is helping me out on reducing the interest of the loan.
