I have paid what was told to me as an outstanding balance unpaid in addition to make payments arrangements which are currently being taken out of my bank account only to have Navient continue to harass me and my references. I am also still in school and did n't understand why I was already having to pay them back. I did n't get an explanation on as to why, I just kept getting threatening letters and non stop phone calls. It is my understanding that if I 'm still in school I can have my payments deferred, I found that out by looking into my rights. I still have yet to have someone explain it to me and continue to get threating letters saying if I default on my loans they will take all my tax return and I owe the full amount. I would like someone to assist me who can make some sense of this for me. I feel I get no where when I speak to a Navient representative.
