My daughter had a private loan with Chase and I am the cosigner.I never received a statement from them in the 4 years since she took it out. Last month I got a document from them showing the original load had increased by $2000.00 due to interest. Had I received statements from them, I would have been paying the interest as I have done for the past years with the other private loan she took it out. When she logs into her account there is no information about the servicer or interest amounts.It only shows it is in deferment. The interest also seems excessive. The original loan was $600.00 and now it has increase to almost $8000.00 in a few short years.
