- - took out a student loan without my knowledge or permission in -. She was living in my house and had access to all of my personal information and email. I was n't even in the same state as her when the account was opened. I was living and working in CA and staying at the - -. I 'm still not sure why Navient did n't contact me asking if I approved this loan. They even had my contact number. Once I discovered the loan I contacted Navient have followed everything they asked for. I never received any communication between when the loan was opened. Once i received the first bill 2 years later I called to try and have it removed. I have since tried to contact them and cant reach anyone in the fraud department. I received a letter saying they were no longer investigating the claim but have n't told me why. When i originally called they told me the loan was in deferment until -. I received a bill yesterday asking for payment in - -. I shouldnt have to pay anything and this loan should be removed as I was never notified of the loan or signed any documents. They have yet to even provide me with application or any correspondence sent.
