Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't temporarily postpone payments Montana

I attended - - - for -. I graduated in -/-/-. I am currently -, my term began in -/-/- and end -. Part of the deal of being an - is you are entitled to student loan forbearance during your term. I have an account with - -/Navient to which I submitted the standard formal forbearance request/notice to every address I could find and it has been denied. As you may know - make a VERY modest living stipend, just enough to get by and we can not afford to pay our student loans on such an income. The - forbearance is essential to the position and is one of the reason ppl accept such low income for hard work. - - has refused my forbearance despite many attempts. When I spoke with someone on the phone they were very rude and said they 'd never heard of -. How a major student loan company has never heard of - blows my mind and comes across as purposeful. Since that call they have been calling me and my mother - times a day between the hours of - and - and emailing me frequently. The most recent email seemed to posit that the account was now being handled by a collections agency. The account was not in collections before I started my - term and now is because the wo n't accept what I understand to be a mandatory forbearance. PLEASE HELP. I can not afford to pay this loan while in service, doing so would leave me with literally nothing after rent and bills.
