At the end of my lease in 2014, I turned in my car to the dealership when I picked up my new car. After Ally Financial picked up the car from the dealership, they assessed lease-end fees of $ -. I was able to settle with them for a lesser amount, which I paid in the time requested to settle the account. Due to a system error on Ally 's part, they reported that negotiated difference as outstanding and it was sent to collections. I was able to get this corrected with Ally, but my credit report still shows that as a serious delinquency, even after it was corrected.
