I work very hard to pay my bills and I want very much to keep my student loan payments in good standing. I can not afford the - a month payment Discover is requiring of me. And now they tell me I have no options. None. I have tried all I can to come up with a payment plan that works for us both. I am a new father and have even taken on a - job to try and make ends meet. Discover let me pay a reduced payment of $ -/month that was just doable for me. Now I am out of options. The only option now, it seems, according to Discover, is to default, which I do not want. I have - co-signers : my brother who is in the - - and can not afford these payments and my sister, who also can not as she is a stay-at-home-mom. I want to be in good standing. I want to work with Discover, but they refuse. This can not be how their business works : " Sorry, too bad, nothing we can do. ''
