Other bank product/service Problems caused by my funds being low Virginia

I have - bank accounts with BB & T ; - saving and - regular or basic. My other services are BB & T checking card or ATM card, and online banking and Overdraft protection. Everything was functioning great since I opened my account in - last year until one day in - of this year, I was contacted in -, to change my saving account type to a checking account type, based on the fact I have exceeded the withdrawals limits for a saving account per Federal regulations. I am not complaining about this fact, as it seems fair within the Federal Regulations. So, I went to the - branch to resolve this matter, and was advised to change that savings account to a checking account, as not be bound by withdrawal limits. In fact, the Branch banker ( level - ) said the transition will be seamless and nothing should change ( besides Yields, etc ). I signed all the new account creation paperwork and specifically asked questions on the Overdraft protection form. To my satisfaction, as to have my overdraft protected and fed from my new checking account, I signed the relative paper or form ( which I have a copy of ). Two weeks later, I started noticing that I am getting charged NSF charges for overdrafts, I thought I was protected against. To my suspicion, the bank emailed me on - -, almost 2 months after the account type switch/transfer. My complaint is that they have my signature on the alleged missing forrm/signature and that they refuse to reverse or pay me back the Non Sufficient Funds fee ( more than - USD, but this number is not confirmed yet ) that I incurred because of a misplaced or allegedly missing signature or form.
