Wells Fargo Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account status October 15, 2015 - -/-/-, I had a - student credit card from Wells Fargo Bank. It was sold to a collections agency because at the time I could not keep up with my payments. -/-/-, while I was - with the - -, I paid the account in full leaving it with a - balance. To this date, this account still shows up in my credit report which I feel is impacting my credit even after 4 years of the account being paid off.
