Mortgage loan servicing, payments, escrow account February 18, 2017 - In - 2016 I made a mortgage payment through International City Mortgage ( ICM ) and unknowingly transposed two of the numbers of my checking account. The payment was accepted and I believed it had been made. After the funds were still in my account some days later, I called ICM to confirm the payment was accepted. I was told it was and to wait a few days for it to clear. I again waited for the funds to clear but they did not. It has been impossible to set up automatic payment through their website ( the only way they have to set up automatic payment ), despite receiving confirmation emails from them that we successfully registered for their automatic payment system. We have had to pay late fees for a few months while trying to resolve this. Phone-based customer service has been completely unhelpful and was unable/unwilling to set up automatic payments. I have an escrow account to save monthly for County ( Property ) Tax and Hazard Insurance.
